A limited series of virtual (via Zoom) events to provide updates and information on a range of topics. These events will occur over several days. Most events will be recorded for future viewing.
All events are open to any and all provider staff.

Why hold a virtual check in?
HSD works to hold two in-person conference events each year; one in the Fall and one in the late Spring. This Virtual Check In provides a third opportunity to gather and present on timely issues.

HSD Procurement Basics: Understanding How Your Organization Can Engage with Multnomah County
Description: This presentation introduces and explains procurement authority, the Request For Pre-Qualification (RFPQ) process, and Multnomah County procurement more generally. The goal of this session is to empower those in the provider community to better understand the rules, regulations, and processes inherent to government procurement and work with Multnomah County. It will also inform providers of upcoming procurement opportunities with the HSD. The expected / desired outcomes are: knowledge building, community connection, enhanced clarity of county processes, and furthering equity.

2026 State Legislative Session Recap and Looking Forward
Description: This presentation provides a summary of the 2026 Oregon Legislative Session and its impact on supporting people experiencing homelessness and housing instability. The session will also offer insights into future work by the Oregon Legislature.
