90 Day Pause

Chair Vega Pederson, working in partnership with Commissioner Jones-Dixon, directed a 90-day pause on the County’s construction plans for a new homelessness services facility in the former Cook Plaza building.

Commissioner Jones-Dixon is hosting a series of three sessions, during which we’ll build a shared understanding of the context and Cook Plaza project background, hear your feedback about locational needs and service impacts of shelters in East County, and then reflect back what we heard to ensure appropriate and responsive next steps.

RSVP to attend a series of meetings to share your perspective on the locational needs and service impacts of shelter in East County.
