List of HSD shelters

This list was updated October 2025.

The Homeless Services Department funds more than 30 shelters in Multnomah County, serving adults, survivors of domestic/sexual violence, families with children, and youth. These shelters are all open 24/7 and are operated by community-based organizations.

To view a map of shelters, go to the HSD data dashboard and navigate to “Services” then “Shelter.”

Domestic violence shelters

For the safety of our participants, this list does not include information about shelters serving survivors of Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault. If you are in need of emergency shelter, and are escaping domestic violence or sexual assault, call the Gateway Center at 503-988-6400 or Call to Safety at 503-235-5333.
