New CoC Projects

The 2026 Continuum of Care Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) is expected to be released soon. Once the NOFO has been released, this page will provide detailed instructions for agencies interested in submitting new project applications.

NOFO Info Session

Info Session

If you are interested in applying for this funding, please join us for a NOFO Info Session on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at 10:00 – 12:00pm via Zoom. This workshop will provide attendees with an overview of funding availability, eligible projects, and the local application process, including instructions for completing the required Letter of Intent and local project application. We encourage all organizations interested in applying for CoC funding to attend, including faith- and community-based organizations and organizations that have not previously received CoC funding.

Office Hours

Optional Virtual Office Hours

HSD and Homebase (a technical assistance firm) will additionally be offering optional Office Hours to support new applicants to understand the application process, project types, funding, and the application forms.

Important Dates for New Projects

June 16: HSD to host a CoC NOFO Competition Kickoff for Renewal and New CoC Project Applicants with Homebase TA.

June 23: Letter of Intent Form Due

July 14: Deadline to submit local project applications and HUD e-snaps applications

August 5: HSD notifies project applicants if they have been locally selected to be forwarded to HUD as part of our 2026 CoC NOFO application

August 6-14: Project applicants have a staff member available to make edits to the e-snaps application based on feedback from HSD or Homebase on their application.

August 17: Final e-snaps applications due for all projects (new and renewals).

December: HUD announces national awards
